Dayton is expanding its range of truck tyres with the launch of on/off-road tyres: Dayton D800M steer and D800D drive for mixed on- and off-road service.
Made in Europe and subjected to the quality controls of Bridgestone, Dayton on/off-road tyres give truck operators the same no-nonsense “essential performance at the best price” as the Dayton on-road truck tyre line-up introduced in 2015.
Durable Dayton resists cuts and chipping
Both new Dayton on/off tyres are designed to handle the roughest work, when you have to turn off the tarmac and drive on stones, gravel or debris – in construction, refuse transport or the logging industry for example.
Dayton on/off-road tyres are manufactured to let you move comfortably over rough, uneven surfaces providing you with the grip and traction that is needed for this type of work. Thanks to their M+S & alpine symbol qualifications, they will continue to provide you with outstanding performance even on mud and snow covered terrains as well as on severe winter conditions. Furthermore, their special rubber compound, developed for its high resistance to cuts and chipping, protects the tyre tread and casing from costly damage on abrasive surfaces.
Retreadable for even better value
Thanks to Bridgestone’s renowned casing expertise, both these durable new Dayton tyres can be retreaded – unlike many low-price import tyres. This retreadability gives your Dayton tyres a much longer working life, making them even better value for money. “If driving is your business and it sometimes takes you off the tarmac, Dayton’s robust new on/off-road tyres will give you the durability and wear you need to get the job done.” says Harald Van Ooteghem, Senior Manager Truck & Bus Tyres Category Management at Bridgestone Europe.
But the great value of new Dayton on/off-road tyres doesn’t stop there:
- Both new tyres have tie-bars between the tread blocks in the centre contact area, which increase circumferential stiffness and help to minimise heel and toe wear. This prolongs service life helping to maximise uptime and reduce maintenance costs. The tie-bar design as well as the tyre’s good resistance against irregular wear, also help give a quiet, smooth ride on the highway.
- Dayton D800M and D800D (for size 315/80 R22.5) feature an exclusive new slim bead designed to limit tyre weight without compromising durability, payload capacity rolling resistance performance.
All weather performance
You can count on these Dayton tyres all year round. Both have strong winter capabilities and handle with great safety on wet, snow and ice. The popular 80 series 315/80R22.5 and standard size 13R22.5 carry M+S and 3PMSF markings.
New Dayton on/off-road tyres D800M steer and D800D drive are currently available in sizes 315/80R22.5 and 13R22.5.
As an added value, Dayton customers can call on the expertise and knowhow of Bridgestone Partner, the independent network of truck tyre dealers and exclusive distributor of Dayton truck tyres in Europe.
