May, 27 2016

Bridgestone Corporation announced that it will highlight several products at a fan-focused exhibit during a four-day period at the ADAC Zurich 24-hour Race, held on the Nürburgring Circuit in Germany, from May 26-29, 2016.

The world-famous Nürburgring Circuit is known for its demanding vehicle development enviroment. Beginning with Bridgestone’s development of original equipment (OE) tires for Porsches and Ferraris in the 1980s, which represented the first time a Japanese-made tire was used as an OE tire for these vehicles. The Nürburgring Circuit continues to be an important location for a wide variety of Bridgestone tire development and motorsports activities.

At the Bridgestone exhibit, the company will introduce POTENZA, a global premium brand that was built on the foundation of circuit racing, including Nürburgring, through the “Bridgestone Motorsports × POTENZA History Corner.” This interactive area will highlight Bridgestone’s motorsports legacy, which has helped support the technology used to develop POTENZA. In doing so, Bridgestone will convey its passion for motorsports to all fans in attendance.
