Bridgestone, the world’s n° 1 tyre and rubber manufacturer, will be at the EICMA 73rd International Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy, from 1th to 22nd November. On an impressive 178m² stand, Bridgestone will display new products, innovations and the wide range of Battlax tyres for all types of riders and motorcycles.
Bridgestone: Pavilion 24, stand M77.
World première for new Battlax Hypersport S21 Star of the show is the new Battlax Hypersport S21 – revealed for the first time at EICMA 2015, fitted on the stunning new 1-litre Yamaha R1. By combining the proven wet platform of S20 EVO with innovative new features to upgrade dry performance, Bridgestone has engineered S21 to give hypersport riders the sort of handling they could only dream of until now.
Also on display for the first time ever is Battlax Racing W01, Bridgestone’s new flagship hypersport wet racing tyre. Designed around the tread pattern of the 2015 MotoGP™ wet, W01 is the latest example of Bridgestone’s ability to spin off its Grand Prix experience for the benefit of riders everywhere. Watch out for Battlax W01, a wet racing tyre destined for the podium!
Still on the subject of world premières, Bridgestone proudly presents the first all-electric Saroléa Manx 7 superbike homologated for the road, fitted with its Battlax RS10 racing street sport radials. This Manx 7 street bike is directly derived from Saroléa SP7 which competed strongly in the Isle of Man TT Zero race in 2014 and 2015. Bridgestone provides technical support and tyre expertise to Saroléa in a joint commitment to sustainable mobility – and this homologation is a big step forward in the journey towards zero-emission motorcycling.
Other new products on display include size expansions as Bridgestone moves to continually cover the whole market:
- Battlax T30 EVO touring tyre, which mixes real sports performance with the durability and reliability of a premium touring tyre, now moves from three initial sizes to a full line-up;
- Battlax Adventure A40 now expanded to fit top-selling BMW R1200GS (front 110/80 R19, rear 150/70 R17) on which it is displayed.
- And Battlax SC, now in the second year of a 3-year size expansion programme to match proliferation in the European scooter market.
Finally, Bridgestone’s stand in Milan includes the recently-launched Battlecross X20, X30 and X40: a premium motocross line-up for all types of terrain, developed on the track with professional riders in top competitions.
