BMW Driving Experience Enters New Era on Bridgestone Tyres

For the sixth year running, Bridgestone – the number one tyre and rubber manufacturer in the world – has once again been selected as the exclusive tyre supplier to the BMW Driving Experience.

Comprising a range of specialised training programmes that enhance driving skills, safety and performance, the 2014 edition promises both big and small things.

In addition to the already impressive line-up of BMW vehicles shod with Bridgestone tyres, participants in this year’s edition of the BMW Driving Experience will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a BMW M4 – the powerful new high-performance coupé – and a BMW i3 – the revolutionary new compact all-electric car.

As exclusive Original Equipment supplier to the i3, Bridgestone was the obvious choice. Perfectly adapted to the training programmes that put drivers to the test in a variety of conditions, Bridgestone’s tyres let them explore and extend their limits safely and with total confidence.

Previous editions of the BMW Driving Experience have offered specialist training to more than 50.000 motorists throughout Europe. The diverse programme includes courses in safety, snow and ice driving, racing techniques and professional driving. BMW M Experience events, tours and customised driving experiences are also offered.

A shared vision

The decision to extend Bridgestone’s exclusive partnership with the BMW Driving Experience is testament to the strong collaboration between the two brands. The most recent product of this fruitful partnership is the Bridgestone ologic tyre – The Ecopia EP500 – developed exclusively for the BMW i3 electric car. Setting new standards for energy efficiency and lightweight performance without compromising on safety or wet grip, the aerodynamic ologic tyre is paving the way for the electric revolution on roads across Europe and the world.
