Bridgestone is proud to announce yet another partnership with Daimler, this time to supply premium tyres for the renowned Mercedes-Benz Driving Events, in charge of all driver trainings and driving experiences at Mercedes-Benz. Selected on the basis of their safety, reliability and proven performance across a wide variety of road and weather conditions, premium tyres from Bridgestone’s Potenza, Turanza, Dueler and Blizzak range will be fitted to the full range of Mercedes-Benz high-performance vehicles used during all 36 Mercedes-Benz driving events, driver trainings, off-road trainings and travel journeys in 2013/2014.
The Mercedes-Benz Driving Events focuses on teaching a large number of safe driving techniques from emergency braking to evasive action and high-speed manoeuvring, all in response to challenging traffic situations and road conditions. Eco driving techniques are also covered, instructing participants on how to minimise fuel consumption by adapting their driving behaviour. And, what would a day’s driving instruction be without an introduction to the basics of motor racing out on the track? Mercedes-Benz Driving Events cover the whole spectrum depending on the skill level and interests of participants.
And to ensure their maximum safety at all 22 locations – from well-known racing circuits in Germany to the frozen lakes of Lapland – Bridgestone has been selected as the exclusive tyre supplier to the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events. From now on, the entire Mercedes-Benz product range in use will be fitted with the latest in Bridgestone tread and compound technology courtesy of the best tyres from the manufacturer’s premium sports (Potenza), touring (Turanza), SUV (Dueler) and winter (Blizzak) ranges. At the same time, participants are also inducted in the use and advantages of Bridgestone’s advanced MOExtended Run Flat Technology.
Thanks to the new agreement, Mercedes-Benz and Bridgestone can now offer a thrilling, adrenaline-charged driving experience without compromising on safety.
All programs are available worldwide and can be booked by anyone no matter where he or she is from. The consecutive training formats provide participants with a sustainable training program for a life-long learning experience.
