The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 emerged from this evaluation with the expert judgement of “exemplary”.
The tyres had to demonstrate their braking and handling abilities on snow as well as on wet and dry roads. In addition, this year’s test programme was expanded to include the category of “costs”, in which mileage, rolling resistance and price/mileage were assessed.

Only two brands received the rating of “exemplary” from Auto Bild. The testers found the Blizzak LM-32 to be especially convincing because of its “balanced handling behaviour with precise steering on dry and wet roads”. They describe the tyre as a “convincing all-round talent with very good traction on snow”. Moreover, the LM-32 scores well on rolling resistance: its fuel-saving rolling resistance, which earned the second place in the tests, catapulted it onto the winners’ podium. It also achieved the best possible score with regard to traction, and its high average traction allows it to effortlessly master slippery, snow-packed slopes.
