The Bridgestone Duravis R410 test winner beat five leading competitors’ tyres and was the only tyre to achieve the magazine’s “very good” top rating.
Testing on a Volkswagen Transporter T5 in van, camper and motor-home configurations, with tyre size 215/65R16C, placed the Duravis R410 in first spot for both wet and dry performance.
“Very good and well balanced on wet and dry surfaces. High safety levels during aquaplaning and well balanced” was the final verdict of Promobil magazine.
Bridgestone designed the Duravis R410 to be a durable van tyre, with a long wear life, but to handle like a car tyre. Whether manoeuvring in city streets or cruising on motorways, it gives vans and motor homes a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride, in addition to excellent wet and dry performance.
Promobil is Germany’s leading specialist motor-home magazine with a readership of around 400,000 enthusiasts. Over a period of almost 30 years, Promobil has built up a reputation for technical expertise and critical, independent testing.
