The latest status of the restart plans of our factories

1. The latest status of the restart plans of our factories
(1) Tochigi Factory : Restarted production from March 16
Under study to restart delivery from March 18 onwards
(2) Nasu Factory : Now rescheduling to restart production*
(3) Kuroiso Factory : Restarted production from March 16
(4) Tokyo Factory : Restarted production from March 15
Restarted delivery from March 16 onwards
(5) Yokohama Factory : Partial production has already resumed after plant safety was
confirmed.
*Nasu Factory initially planned to restart production from March 16, but due to
the investigation of facilities following the small smokes and fire sparks on the
same day, it has rescheduled the restart.

2. The activities for brownout to relieve the shortage of electricity
(1) Activities inside the head office buildings, technical center etc.
A. To save using the lightings inside the head office building, technical center etc.
B. To minimize using elevators inside the head office building, technical center etc.
C. To share using the office equipment and to turn off the power when not using
(2) To stop illumination of corporate signboard under the territory of Tokyo Electric
Power Company (4 signboards in total)
(3) To close Bridgestone Today (Corporate Museum) tentatively (until March 31)
(4) To stop illumination of the communication space (Head office building 1st floor)
(5) To stop using IT system inside the office (Executed on March 14)
