Brief

This position is in BSEU NV holding company, which is also Group’s largest sales company and owns all the European inventories. You are part of a small team responsible for various activities.

You support the Controlling and Financial reporting for Bridgestone Europe NV, through the preparation and reporting of BSEU inventory for monthly, quarterly and year end actual results (US Gaap/IFRS). You prepare sections of the monthly management reporting package, provide accrual support to cost center owners and  prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis.

You are responsible for the rolling forecast: you prepare, coordinate and consolidate the OPEX forecast, prepare the reporting, analyse variances and provide analytical comments to support business decisions and management. You improve OPEX understanding, quality and visibility among the business unit heads and management, and follow-up on functional forecasting accuracy on a monthly basis.

You support the Budgeting, by calculating the inventory and inventory movement by source for different budget versions based on supply chain volumes. You calculate cogs based on inventory movements, calculate BSEU’s external sales, check and calculate missing prices, and prepare the balance sheet.

You support different projects from the financial side, and support the improvement of the Finance department through the proposal of process improvements, implementing standardization and further automating the budgeting process.

Requirements:

Education (type & level) : 
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance 

Professional experience:
You can benefit from a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (financial reporting, P&L, balance sheets), and have ideally been exposed to accounting.

  • You have strong analytical skills, and are at ease with the analysis of financial data in different systems
  • You have strong organizational and planning skills, and are able to work under time pressure
  • You have strong communication skills to work with the stakeholders in the different departments, and are able to easily explain financial concepts
  • You are flexible and take initiative to improve existing processes and procedures

Languages :
Fluent in English 

IT skills:
Excellent level in Excel and Access, good level in other MS Office tools. Experience with SAP is a plus.
